Thanks for inquiring about our wine tours, below are some common questions that people like to know about our tours:
- Our main vehicle is a Lincoln Navigator that seats six or seven people. For any larger group we book a van that will hold up to 12 people.
- We usually visit four different wineries in the Cowichan Valley as we try to take people to see and experience different styles and types of wines and also it gives people a nice look at what is available on our beautiful island. WE also like to take you to some of the local artisans or other venues that you may not have thought about.
- Most of the wineries we visit are family owned operations and offer a great variety of wines using local berries and grapes grown on their properties. So sometimes we do have to adjust our itinerary as the wineries may not be able to accommodate tours on a given day.
- Reservations are advisable especially for larger groups as we may not be able to get a vehicle that can take all the guests together and most weekends book quickly.
- There is no drinking allowed in the vehicle as this is against the Passenger Transportation Licensing Board regulations.
- Unfortunately I do not take credit cards, so payment is given by cash to the tour operator or driver on the day you take your tour. If you would like to prepay or send a deposit, please contact me so arrangements can be made.
- All tours are quoted without gratuity.
